A private compound at the top of Calle Horizonte
Seven rooms across four villas, an outdoor pool, rooftop balconies and a bougainvillea courtyard — in Colonia San Ignacio, one block from where the town stops and the arroyo begins.
Cuatro Vientos yoga is next door. Aldo’s Gym, three groceries, an art gallery and the fish market are all inside five minutes on foot. Below is our own map of the neighbourhood, and the full list we hand every guest on arrival.
Everything within reach of the gate
Hand-drawn from inside the gate going outwards. The marks are actual places we recommend and send guests.
Click any mark on the map to find it in the lists below. Drawn to a walker's scale — what you can reach on foot is drawn large, the coast road south is compressed. Straight-line distances; walk times assume 4.7 km/h plus an allowance for the street grid.
Where to eat, drink, and shop for dinner
kitchens, cafés, bars and markets — from the stand at the end of the block to the farm tables down Highway 19.
Beaches, galleries, studios, spas and the mountains behind
places to go, in four directions from the gate: the sand, the plaza, the studios, and the road south. A note on the water — La Cachora and Los Mangos are walking beaches with heavy shore break. Cerritos is the one you swim.
Come stay in the middle of all of it
Seven rooms, a pool, and a town you can cross on foot.
